That's what may be missing.

Very fun league. There is another version of this running already. Basic principle is that you try to win and not get eliminated to play in the 9th season.
First season is all AAA. 2 teams get locked into the final season and no eliminations
Second season you pick a below .500 team. 2 teams are locked for the final season. 2 we say goodbye to (their players will be available in the draft)
Third season till last you get to draft or twist 2 players to improve your team. The drafted players from the open pool and eliminated teams.
Each season teams will be eliminated till we are down to 12 teams in the last season.
Champs and sometimes runner ups will be saved from elimination along with others - read rules above.

Hope I summarized that well. Either way come join and try not to get eliminated.

Season 1 60/20 Way Above Average AAA - Both teams in the World Series are definitely placed in Season 9
Season 2 We draft a sub .500 team -worst from season 1 picks first and the 2 teams above pick last and next to last
....along with 60/20 Way Below Average AAA - Both teams in the World Series are definitely placed in Season 9
Season 3 We keep our Sub .500 team from season 2 and are allowed to Draft 2 or Twist 2 or Draft 1 and Twist 1
....and from season 3 on only the World Series Champ is placed in Season 9

...This is where I'm confused.

A - The Draft is players from the Season 2 teams that were eliminated as they were?
.......or can you draft the players from the eliminated teams with their best season?
B - Any player that was with your franchise during it's history with their best season?
C - Any player from any team with any salary?
D - All of the above?

Question # 2
You can twist any player you have on your sub .500 team to the best year of
his career, any salary and any team to any position?
I have Babe Ruth 1916 SP Boston Red Sox on my team.
I can twist him to 1921 NYY 1B / OF if I want?

Season 3 to 9 will make sense after these are answered.

How do you re align teams between the leagues?

I can help you with this.

Question 1 - Any player/year from the pool of players not picked in season 2 including all the players from the eliminated teams. Example from version one - Babe Ruth’s team was eliminated so the first pick in the next seasons draft was Ruth from his best season and not the year from his elimination team. We use the draft tool so anyone you search for in all years are available. So many great players available each draft to improve your team or twist your own players.

Question 2 - any season you want to twist him to.

Question 3 - the toughest one. Since it doesn’t happen perfect with one team from each league eliminated, RF does his best to setup the balance with our input if we disagree. With 2 teams though both your teams won’t be in the same league NL/AL.

Thanks Don, Only thing I would like to add is we try to keep the teams in the divisions
they represented in their original league if necessary to move, by Geography.
Example - A STL Missouri team would be in either the Central or Western division
depending on how many teams are actually western division teams in real life.
The chances of a STL team being in either NLE or ALE is extremely remote.
