When you do the owners ranking, you should normalize it to expected. Calculate the average wins by franchise, and compare the actual wins (per owner). I am currently ranked first in wins, but I am also playing the three highest ranked teams and do not have the two lowest ranked teams, so my +/- wins vs expected wins may actually be lower than other owners.

Well, I was right about the fact my Expected wins is on the high side. Didn't realize CLWECW was actually higher.

Yep - that's the plan. schwarze took the lead on putting some together that I will be posting tonight, and then I'm also planning to add a few things next week.

I really don't know if we are going to be able to get out of it. I am trying everything but the first game screwed us. Haven't seen a spiral this bad in a long time

Ironically, when brianjw and I drafted teams through sitemail, the White Sox were my first pick (and the first overall pick)

Here's some roster analysis (thanks to schwarze). Cookie Factor is a measure of how an individual owner's roster compares to the rosters of the other owners who built teams for a given franchise. An example is: My Reds team is more like the average Reds team than any other team is like the average team for that franchise, while pmwskw's Red Sox team is the most unique team in the tournament.

Additionally, the Vs. Avg metric just compares the Cookie Factor for an individual team to the average Cookie Factor for that franchise (i.e the Orioles franchise has the most similarity across the board, and my team is the furthest from that average, but in the direction of MORE cookies.
