One team is down 24-23 with 10 seconds left, at their own 39 with no timeouts. The QB throws a medium pass and the wide receiver catches the ball around the opponents 40 and scores to win the game 29-24. Should the other coach send in a ticket or, just practice time in the Dime and DB tackling?

Unbelievable finish made possible by terrible tackling. No idea what Williams was doing there.

No tackling was needed, just push him out of bounds! I believe that would probably fall under GI? lol

Better player management so a first year player is not on the field.

Pushing him out of bounds with a completion, or committing pass interference, would have resulted in allowing a potential game-winning field goal.

I'll bet Sean Peyton was asking the same questions Sunday night.

This. There was just enough time left on the clock that the defender had to gamble a little. The right play is obvious for us all to judge now, but in the moment it wasn't.
