tang is obviously on the Institutional Racism train, and I can respect lobbying for something he believes. However, I'm not sure of some of his "facts" or why he has such hatred for Trump, a man who is also trying to fight Institutional Racism (see below story). Is he not doing any research to know the facts? Is he blinded by Party affiliation? Does he just like to argue on the internet to fill his time? We'll probably never know.
I literally posted 5 paragraphs worth of FACTS that prove that insititutional racism exists. I do not hate Trump. I dislike where he is taking the country, and I dislike him as a person and a leader.

Opinions vary and this country is very divided. Which is unfortunate.
1/24/2018 9:43 AM
But can you agree with my FACTS?
1/24/2018 9:45 AM
No. I explained why already.
1/24/2018 9:52 AM
Because you think that they are a global conspiracy against the right created by the left because..... Reasons?

  1. Facts can be misconstrued. I gave you an example of NBA being 75% black. NBA is not racist. 90% of inmates are men. Police officers are not sexist. Men commit more crimes.
  2. I think it is based on wealth not race. LeBron James kids are better off than 99.9% of all other kids.
  3. Even if it is true. It is NOT. There is no solution. I would rather concentrate my efforts on concrete examples and fight against that.

No, because you insist on including things like this as "fact":
Nixon specifically wanted to target black people by putting drugs in their neighborhoods and then making it a 'black thing' to have drugs

It is a hearsay opinion and is over 40 years old.

1. Yes, in some instances it can be. But in the case of, say, white people doing more marijuana but getting arrested less then it is not.
2. It is to an extent. But black people are less wealthy than white ones for a reason. When we have two people with equal qualifications, the white person is going to earn more on average.
3. The first step is to admit that it exists.

So then it "MUST" be true?
So it's NOT over 40 years old?

1) White men may be more covert about it? I need to see specific examples. I don't do drugs so I don't understand the culture.
2) I explained why. It is generational. This country WAS racist so they have less in terms of family savings. My parents for example could not help me as much as my friends were helped when buying a house. My friends are 4th and 5th generation and have built up wealth and equity to help future generations buy homes, etc. My kids will benefit and their kids even more.
3) Don't dodge the question. Even if it does there is nothing that can be done to fight it because as you admitted it is covert.

What happened is 40 years old. Either way that point cn be confused as subjective. The FACT that black people use marijuana less yet get arrested more is not.

Wait how do you measure something like this? I mean if drug use is illegal how would a cop report that I saw a white guy using drugs but didn't arrest him? How is this sort of stat measured? Pot is also legal in MA.

Maybe non-blacks are more careful. Maybe they're better at being sneaky. Where are your true, hard facts? PROVEN numbers. How do we begin to know how many people of any race actually use any drug? Plus, it's still over 40 years ago - why not list slavery. If you'd quit grasping at straws and trying to make assumptions into fact, you'd do wonders for your arguments.

Estimates from surveys and the DOJ. IDK, I don't do it.
