I know you're not this stupid. This not the first time you've said that something happened a long time ago or before you were born, so it doesn't matter. Of course society has changed in 40 years (not nearly enough) but that doesn't mean that things that happened 40 years ago don't matter. Who was it that said those that do not learn from the past are doomed to repeat it.
