Welcome to the seventh WIS Big Balls Showcase. To succeed you will, first and foremost, need to overcome yourself.

Have you had success throughout your WIS career? Do you consistently struggle to make the playoffs? Or are you somewhere in the middle? Regardless of your background, this league attempts to level the playing field using a simple yet surprisingly reliable formula. This formula will use the stats available in your user profile at the time the league fills, plus your previous results in the BBS, to determine how you stack up against your competition.

Yes, that's right. The users in this league will be going up against each other with different salary caps all season long. Owners who have had a history of success will be forced to demonstrate their prowess with a disadvantage, whereas players with less illustrious histories will have a chance to turn the tables with a higher cap.

So, what is this formula? Glad you asked:
( Win % + Playoff Win % + Playoff Ratio + Championship Ratio + BBS Win % ) / 5 = Your User Score

Playoff Ratio = Playoff Appearances / Teams
Championship Ratio = Championships / Playoff Appearances
BBS Win % = Your win % from past seasons of the Big Balls Showcase. If this is your first time participating, your Win % will be used twice instead.

User scores will range significantly, but we don't want the caps to range a ridiculous amount (even the best won't have a chance with a 25M+ disadvantage).

The salary cap you end up with will be determined by how your User Score compares to that of your competitors. This means that the owner with the highest score will get the lowest cap (120M) and the lowest score will get the highest cap (140M), and also that you will not know your cap until we are full. The salary cap breakdown is below:

Divisions will be set in order of User Score with number 1, 12, 13, 24 going in the NL East, etc.

I'll play again...

I already know my cap disadvanyage 140m... Like I've always said, the extra "Only" 20m is NO advantage, makes NO difference, my team will STILL finish in a Distant Last place, as usual. It's like WIS is cursing my teams or something like that, looks like I'm doing this on purpose, like the owner who's goal was to lose all 162 games? I don't know, I might as well throw away my $12. Good thing I get more enjoyment just selecting my team, thinking of all the possibilities of how this team could, or "Should" perform, until WIS gets a hold of them & F*cks them up...
