Anyway, Vlad never saw a pitch he didn't think he could hit, Edgar never saw one he couldn't take. One is in the HOF, the other is not. Figure it out.

Anyone who ever watched alot of Vlads playing time & I know that's tough since his best years were with the Expos . This is a NO BRAINER !! A Canon for a arm , steal bases & hit 500ft Hr's off his shoe tops ! Edger who ?

If the perception is that Edgar walked a lot (OBP very important), maybe it's because no pitcher really wanted to throw him a strike. They would rather take their chances with the next hitter or hopefully a batter.

Vlad was one of the best bad ball hitters ever. Even pitchers who tried to pitch around him would get torched. Fun to watch.
