Has there ever been a world in HBD that has played for real money? Would be awesome, though terribly difficult to organize, to have a league that everyone throws $ in a pot each season (like fantasy football, etc.).

I would think WIS would avoid a league for money, because it could certainly run into legal issues with federal limits on online gambling.

I would think it's not illegal as games of skill and fantasy sports are both carved out of the UIGEA.

A few states in the USA ban residents from playing web based sports fantasy games for money such as "Draft Kings", "CDM Fantasy Sports" and others. Check the fine print of those websites and you will see certain states ban residents from playing the games for money. That is why those websites ask what state you live in. Those games are based on real stats by real players in real games where as HBD is all fake. Maybe that would make a difference such that money games would be allowed here???
