Anybody still playing from back then?

These worlds seem very empty compared to what I remember from back then!

Welcome back! I played close to the same time frame and recently returned myself. Yes, the worlds seem quite different, less active, and thinner. BUT, the Wilkinson world is quite active with coaches chats, etc. that were not around back in the “old days”. Take a look at what is happening in that world. Just as an example.

Still learning the differences of the game today vs back then.

I think I played you at Dayton back then.

flexmagnum, if you are eligible for D2 Rockne that is highly populated. Even if you are not grab a D3 team and get on board next season. akua has a great blog and it is a very competitive level as it is going at about half full. But we are always looking for more coaches to join. Job change starts tonight and runs until Friday evening I believe.

Welcome back! If you go the D3 route, we'd love to have you in Rockne/SCAC. Got some good competition here!

I used to have teams in Camp, Bryant, Heisman and Hayes.

I’m back in Heisman and will probably join Bryant since they are overlapping but that’s it for me.

Wilk and Rockne most active human coached team.
I stay in Stagg and Yost because I have perenial NC contenders there. It starts getting interesting in playoff and OOC games.

tbh, I hate losing,......

I'm excited to see how much the game has changed.

Back when I was in the thick of this, the game was run dominant, everyone was using the ND Box or Wishbone.

Redshirts were used on RB's, OL, and QB's or DL to combat the running.

It was fun for me when I decided to go against the common path and started throwing the ball every down.

Thought this thread was about kcsundevil in a conference championship game apparently not.

Played in Wilkinson for 20 seasons around 2010,2011?. Returned and joined Stagg back in Sept. Definitely less crowded now.
