Lunar New Year is February 16th this year... year of the Dog. I've hosted a number of Lunar/Chinese Zodiac leagues here over the years and they are always popular. For those unfamiliar with the concept, the Chinese Zodiac consists of 12 animals that correspond with years in our Gregorian calendar.
My idea for this league is to use the years from 1898 to 2017, with the more recent years as "Modern" teams and the older years as "Classic". The Classic teams will be in the NL for the season and the Modern teams will be in the AL. There will be five years available for each team and the player pool can be from ANY league - National, American, Federal, etc... we will end up with 24 unique teams. The only stipulation is that you must have FIVE players from each year.
When signing up, indicate which animal and either Classic or Modern. Teams are first come, first served... alignment will be by order of signup and I will wait and take the last team standing.
Salary Cap - $110M
No AAA, WW, DH, clones or trades
Injuries will be turned off
Choose any stadium
