  • 24 teams

  • The league is set up similar to a Yankee Swap where in each round there will be 24 picks from a pool of players. Say it is a 1B. Team 1 picks first. Team 2 then selects a player and can either keep that player or trade with Team 1. Team 3 then picks and can either keep that player or trade with either Team 1 or Team 2…and so on. Don’t forget that Team 1 not only goes first in that round but also goes LAST…essentially Team 1 gets the player they want. So you don’t necessarily always want to pick the best player if you are say picking 10th as there are 15 picks behind you.
  • Each team will pick in each position from 1 – 24 at least one time. The categories are:
    • C, 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, OF, OF, OF, P, P, P, P, P, P, P, P, P, P, Misc, Misc, Misc, Misc, Misc, Misc.
    • Each category will have 25 unique players (one will not be drafted). For outfield spots, there are three separate drafts with three separate players pools. For pitchers it is 10 separate drafts with 10 separate pools.
    • The 25th player will be a backup catcher and will be assigned randomly.
  • The Misc players will be those that field multiple positions and each Misc category has several excellent players with excellent seasons.
  • You may choose any season of a player you select. If you get Albert Pujols you may use any year and so on. There are excellent, good, average and such players in every round. Including the 10 pitcher rounds. So people have to be strategic when they pick given the Yankee swap rules and how they build their teams.
  • Stadium draft will be last and in random order.
  • Random League Alignment.
  • This will be a LOOOOOOOOONG draft process but the team built will be unique and fun to control.
  • What position is picked and when will be determined by Random.Org and again everyone will draft in each position. If Team 1 drafts first in round 1 they may draft 8th in round 2. Team 1 will draft in every slot in 24 rounds. What positions and when will be determined by Random.org.
