The only guys left on my roster who are still alive are
Don Mossi- age 89 and
Bobby Shantz age 92

they are still sending back autographed cards and pictures to fans...amazing....wonder if Willie and Hank do the same.

As far as I know, Willie and Aaron don't sign through the mail. I'm sure they receive an overwhelming amount of mail. They'll do card shows and various "meet and greets", but given their age and interest in such things, those are becoming rare events.

I can't recall seeing any of these old players play until late in their careers in the late sixties ... Some names that come to mind are Willie Mays, Ernie Banks, Al Kaline, Harmon Killebrew and I recall some of my Latino compadres like Roberto Clemente, Camilo Pascual, Orlando Cepeda, Felipe Alou, Minnie Minoso, and Zoilo Versalles ...
