what is the highest overall ranking you’ve seen sign with a D2 school?

I just signed the #122 overall player in Allen and was wondering how that compares to what guys have done in the past.

I've seen guys in the 50's. I know I have seen one star players and I think I have seen 2-3 star players. Usually those guys aren't that good though.

Oops, i just saw your guys was #122 overall. That's about as high as I have seen.

I got 20 SG overall, the 21 SF overall. They were ranked overall but I dunno where to see that info anymore.

Yeah, my guy was the #20 PG and #122 overall (three stars). He is ineligible, but he is going to be very good. I couldn't believe no one in D1 went after him. I suspect that because he was going to sign late that teams that saw him may have decided to wait until recruiting period 2, and I was worried that I would lose him late. However he signed on the first cycle of RS2.

His ratings:

Athleticism - 54 Gray
Speed - 74 Yellow
Rebounding - 20 Yellow
Defense - 64 Gray
Shot Block - 10 Gray
Low Post - 12 Green
Perimeter - 74 Blue
Ball Handling - 70 Green
Passing - 73 Red
Work Ethic - 46
Stamina - 73 Gray
Durability - 37 Blue
Free Throw - B+ Red

Maybe speed and ath made them wait. I got a late player also signing in the first cycle. I was doomed if he waited more cause I saw three d1 show up in the list.

This is below yours.... But this past season at D2 Slippery Rock, i signed two 1 star PF's. One ranked 43rd and one 48th at position. Overall they were #141 and #157. It's not as good as your #122 overall, but for ME personally it was worthy of mentioning. There was only one other "star" recruit that season in all of D2 (that recruit was actually a 2star signed by snewell12 i think. I don't remember the player exactly tho).

My guys will finish up as solid players. But one of them was definitely overhyped. 7 green categories and 1 blue when i signed him. After 1 game, 6 of those 8 categories with high growth turned the next color down immediately. Bummer

A few seasons ago I was at Felician and lost a 60-40 dice roll for the 75th overall player. Would have gotten him if he didn't take so damn long signing which allowed the sim to catch up.

That would definitely suck. I wouldn't mind losing out to a human controlled team in that situation, but losing to a Sim AI because he wouldn't sign sooner would hurt.

The moment when you likely lock up the #1 recruiting class, throw your fists in the air at work and have your coworkers look at you as if you’re insane! Lol

I managed to land the #50 SG at my C- prestige D3 school.
I have no idea how, but I'm very happy and grateful for it.

Haha yeah it was funny watching the Sim creep up. 1st cycle at Very Low, 2nd at Low, 3rd at Moderate, 4th at High and he signs.. nooo

Every cycle I would check and I'm like " c'mon you ************ just sign! "

But honestly that's how it should really work. I'm sure the recruit was much happier playing at Indiana in front of 10,000 people instead of the 45 that Felician averages for attendance.

My highest I think was Hoops Dynasty – College Basketball Sim Games - Bryan Bristow - Ratings - Tarkanian - Hoops Dynasty Basketball | WhatIfSports, #17 C, I think he was low 100's overall...he's good but not great

This was worthy of digging up.... I just saw robinhood410 signed the #17 PF and #54 overall in D2 Crum. The recruit was also LA Mr Basketball and 4-star. Wow
