D2 Pulling Down D1 Topic

I am making the hop to D2 next season, do most NT teams or elite teams pull down all D1 recruits like they do when they pull down D2 into D3? Just wondering. Still fairly new to Hoops.

Most successful teams do target projected D1 players, primarily. I always make a point to scout local D2 guys, some of the high potential guys are very playable.

I usually just go for D1, but do not have that much experience in D2.

Yea, you’d be surprised at how solid some D2 JUCO recruits can be. I brought one onto my D1 team this year because I was desperate for a playable backup PG. He’s no world beater, but he was serviceable and will be a solid 700+ next season and still has blue potential at DEF & LP and blacks in a lot of other areas.
