LOOOOOTS of good information here. And stats and examples and explanations also. You two should be defense attorneys if your current gigs don't work out.

But using my eye test theory, i rule in favor of Curry BH being closer to 90 than 70.

I'll also add in that his pre-game warm-up BH show that he puts on is a second to none as well.
Yeah I enjoy this stuff.

It's hard to resist when someone makes a somewhat silly statement and gets called out on it but doubles down and tries to prove his point by stating something that is just flat out wrong and they then show their ignorance. It's fun.

Let's talk a little bit about turnovers..

Here are Curry's Advanced Stats again

Since it's been stated by one that Curry's turnovers are so high that he couldn't have had very high ball handling. It's also been asked to see some other elite guards who have had 3.7 TOs a game.

Let's see how Curry stacks up on Turnover % against the last 4 Bob Cousy Award winners (Nation's Top Point Guard)
TOV% Fr So Jr Sr
Curry 17.3 14.3 16.1 n/a
Frank Mason 19.3 17.9 15.7 14.4
Tyler Ulis 18.3 13 n/a n/a
Delon Wright 18.7 15.4 n/a n/a
Shabazz Napier 22.3 20.7 16.3 17.7
Jonny Flynn 19.1 20.2 n/a n/a

Edit- I threw in Jonny Flynn because he was drafted 1 pick ahead of Curry... and I like Cuse.

So his best TOV% season of 14.3 was better than Frank Mason's Sr year when he won the award and Wright's Soph season... when he won the award.

His WORST season of 17.3 was better than Napier's season... when he won the award.

The only guy who is significantly better is Ulis's Soph season when he won the award. But Curry's Fr season was still better than Ulis's Fr season

OMG sooo many turnovers!

Let's take a look at the Assist % now for those guys

Assist % Fr So Jr Sr
Curry 18.8 19.3 40.2 n/a
Frank Mason 22.4 24.7 23.4 26.1
Tyler Ulis 27.2 34.3 n/a n/a
Delon Wright 29.3 32.8 n/a n/a
Shabazz Napier 24.1 32.6 27.9 30.8
Jonny Flynn 26.8 32.4 n/a n/a
2/21/2018 6:55 PM
And might as well end it here with the Assist % to Turnover %
Ast% to TO% Fr So Jr Sr
Curry 1.1 1.3 2.5
Frank Mason 1.2 1.4 1.5 1.8
Tyler Ulis 1.5 2.6
Delon Wright 1.6 2.1
Shabazz Napier 1.1 1.6 1.7 1.7
Jonny Flynn 1.4 1.6

Bottom line. Steph Curry was insane.

I'd put his ratings at 95 ath, 100 SPD, 100 per, 100 BH, 100 Pass

When a team has only one option to score, that scorer will have a high usg%. If the ball is in your hands on every possession and is the only one to score, then his turnovers will be high. Curry played 33 mins a night also, which would lead to a higher number of tovs.
Curry's ast to tov is also 1.5, which isnt the best but it is great for such a high usg player.
Here is a list guards picked in the lottery in Rupp who averaged 25+ points with a better ast/tov than Curry:
...
Went 5 in and couldnt find anyone with a better ast/tov than Curry while averaging 25 or more points.
Here are some similar player I found:

The second player is the closest i can find with an 80 BH, but he also has 99 pass. He also has a lower ast/tov than Curry.

If Steph is only an 80 for you spoon, is there any guard in college basketball you think is 90+?

Excellent Benis....just excellent.

The turnover % argument is starting to sound like "but her emails!"

"Improved his final year, but still not in line with stats from an elite BH guard in HD."

uh huh.

Not in line with an elite BH guard in HD, just with the last 4 Bob Cousy Award winners.. which is ALMOST as prestigious.

Staggering numbers there.

Maybe shoe is just standing his ground because he was in the T-Wolves draft room. I can't see another reason to fight this.

"I think Flynn has exceptional ball skills. I rate him around an 80. That lil Curry kid just doesn't have it. Make the selection"

NBA Commisoner.... "With the 6th pick in the 2009 NBA draft, ....."

Now that's funny. Oh Jonny Flynn...
