Am I the only one noticing SIM teams with ridiculously low perimeter ratings hitting 3 pointers?

I wonder this as well. And they'll have the PFs and Cs jackin up 3s as well. And they'll have PER ratings of 26 and 33 or something. They won't shoot great percentages. But i have a senior guard with 57 PER (and good ratings in other areas that enhance shooting overall).

His percentage is like .273 (not a lot of attempts tho). And sim PFs and Cs will get in the 30% range. Give or take

I am pretty sure the SIM sets all their settings to 0 and 0. If you do this, you'll see PF and C shooting (and hitting) 3FGA.

Part of the "Does the shot go it" equation is the the defensive metric of the defender so if you have a super slow PF/C that positively influences the attempt.

Yeah, in a practically empty D1 conference playing a lot of sims, I see this constantly.

Three of the 40+ attempts are from 80+ PER while the PF is 65 PER. 3 distribution is more evenly spread. As a side note, 11 humans(6 ranked) scheduled this team so they were trailing a lot.

It's mostly annoying when I lose to a SIM and they go like 11-22 from 3 with a bunch of guys with 40-70 perimeter ratings going like 1-2.

They hit 3s more easily than any of my teams so I am always +1, +2 against SIMS and I often double per 90 and up

If a sim is going 11-22 against your team you have done something wrong.....

Not always. Doesn't happen often, more like infrequently, but when it does happen, it sucks.

There have been times where I've played a plus defense and they had still shot .500 from 3.

I think we need a word for more infrequent than infrequent. I checked my teams (about 160 games)and a sim has shot 50%. Twice.

one is against my d3 team where I only recruit d3 players , and the other was against a team with 3 D iq defenders. They might have been d-.

Just checking my SDSU team this season, here are the games the Sim has shot 50% or better from 3pt land.

5-10 against Santa Clara
5-10 against Grambling State
8-15 against Nevada
7-12 against UNLV
7-11 against UNLV
8-16 against Colorado State

All wins.

Against 3-10 UNC-A. 40% twice(2-5, 4-10). Less in the other 11.

I checked your game log benis and the only game your opponents **** over 50% for threes wS Denver
