5-10 against Santa Clara
5-10 against Grambling State
8-15 against Nevada
7-12 against UNLV
7-11 against UNLV

In typical WIS fashion no one shoots lights out but vs. a +3 defense the SIM team manages to shoot 37% (7-19) from the arc. If I tried this with those players I'd guarantee you I'd be under 30%.

I betcha that 37% is within a standard deviation of whatever you think the mean for that team should be.

I will jump on this bandwagon. Last season my Army squad lost in the 2nd round of the PIT to a simmy team, with zero good long distance shooters (as i recall their top PER guy had a rating of 70). They proceeded to drain 41% of their bombs that game (i believe they were like 14/34 from behind the arc), and knocked me out of the tournament. And to make it even worse...I had a pretty good team defensively. I believe their 14 made 3s and 41% accuracy were both in the top 2 or 3 in those categories by our opponents all season. I was so annoyed. That'll teach me to set my defense positioning to -1...
