Hi all - we have five openings in Munson world for season 37. This is a good world with a solid core of committed but laid-back owners. I'd also be open to an owner swap if interested.
Open teams include:
Salt Lake City (last year: 97-65; 29th pick in upcoming draft). This team is in win-now shape with stars like
Nate Mullin and
Alfonso Castro. I honestly have no idea why it's open.
Columbus (last year: 64-98; 4th pick in upcoming draft). High draft pick and good minor league talent like last year's first draft pick
Vernon Haynes.
Scranton (last year: 77-85; 12th pick in upcoming draft). This team is in better shape than its record suggests with players like
Willie Corcino,
Ellie Hawpe and
Macbeth Hodges.
New Orleans (last year: 68-94; 5th pick in upcoming draft). Some good youngsters like
Alex Wanatabe and
Brad Spencer, and serious financial flexibility if that's your thing.
Mexico City (last year: 73-89; 9th pick in upcoming draft). Some great young talent like
Matt Cedeno, but some work might be needed on this one.
