dont worry it's more a point of parliamentary procedure question than any actual drama

With regards to parliamentary procedure, I'm not ruling out a return to being your friendly neighborhood commish when needed, but seapilots asked and I was fine handing over the reins.

I'm happy to steer seapilots in the right direction when necessary, but, as you know, he's in charge.

I wonder where sly went.....

Think of me as a bad referee commissioner and the
rest of the owners as instant replay. It's all about
getting the call right.
I enjoy this draft and spend
way too much time agonising
over picks. (Insert appropriate imogi here)

I was the same way. Y'all corrected me many times

I would like to change to closer to 1 if possible. I dont care if i am in lottery or not.

I really think draft preferences should take effect after the lottery in the future. No one IMO would choose closer to 24 if they get the 1 or 2 pick, but after about 8 or 9 it changes everything.

We should be able to choose when we know where we all stand. A difference of 10 spots is significant.

Thanks.

Owners know what they want. You should give someone like uptown credit. He's been around a long time

Ok.... He was not guaranteed a top 2 pick, just top 2 odds which are very different things.
Close to 24 is a smart choice, but not vs. top 2 pick as I said IMO.
....and Ive been here as long as anyone and have a couple odl rings myself although they are old.
My post had nothing to do with calling anyone out.

We traditionally don't go on the clock for round 1. I'm down, but I'm guessing someone doesn't like the idea.

Looking to pick up an extra 1st round pick

I’m willing to make a very good deal for an extra first round pick. I’m going on a long cruise within the week, and the less picks I have when at sea is better for everyone. That being said if anyone is willing to do the evals I will owe you one.

The Clock is not set in stone. I'll evaluate Wednesday. No one will be skipped
in first round. Clock can easily moved forward.
