I am hoping for some guidance here: does anyone know how far the ball is generally thrown for each setting? For instance: is "very short" always thrown behind the line of scrimmage..is "short" within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage, etc.

I'm just trying to get an idea as I am creating a playbook. I understand that YAC differs from the distance the ball is thrown to the receiver.

I thought I'd ask and see if this has even been determined. Thanks for any responses...

I want to say its something like this:
Short 2-5
Med 5-12
Long 13-19
Deep 20+

This is what I found in the forums: VS= -0; S= 1-6; M= 7-12; L= 13-20; D= 20+
