The draft for Season #53 (1927/1972/2002) of the original Triple Era Progressive is right around the corner and we need a new owner for the team below.

The Baltimore team will be going into the 2002 draft with a solid core of David Ortiz, Todd Helton, Magglio Ordonez, Eric Chavez, and good starting pitching with Tim Hudson, Roger Clemens, and Mark Mulder. This team will pick between 3-6 in the upcoming draft that features Jake Peavy, Carlos Zambrano, Mark Prior, Josh Beckett, numerous relievers, and a host of hitters.

Opening this back up as the prospective owner decided not to pursue.

BTW, to give a sense of how competitive the roster is, this team is currently in the middle of the wildcard race, on pace to win about 90 games. Current owner is retiring from WIS completely.

I used to be in this league years ago. I would like to come back with a modern era team and try it again. If you will allow it, I will take the Baltimore Patties.
