Here is something I do not understand. Stats above are, from left, TIP, HRA, OBA, OOBP, OSA, WHIP, ERA.
Which pitcher was 9-24 and which was 16-13, that is worst and best W-L records on this team?
This team is now in the World Series, but only after I had to give up on the losing pitcher and assign him to long bullpen duty. His stats are on Line 3 above. Best on the team in three key categories, but not HRA, OSA and ERA. So he gave up big hits. Yes, but the pitcher who gave up 45 HR and a higher OSA went 16-13, most wins on the staff. The loser is a lefty; the winner, a righty.
Can I assign this to anything other than luck?
