I have searched the forum for the answer to this question, but can't seem to find it:

Is defensive positioning the same across all defenses? For example, is a zero setting in Man defense the same as a zero setting in 3-2? I would think that the 3-2 set to zero positioning would really be like a +1 +2 in man. I would also think that a zero setting in the 2-3 zone would be comparable to -1 or -2 in Man.

Can anyone confirm if this is accurate or not? I've ran a lot of Man and Press D but this is my first zone team.

I think man to man 0 = 3-2 -1, maybe 3-2 -1.5, 2-3 +1, prolly close to 2

I treat a man 0, a 3-2 (-2) and and 2-3 (+2) as the same.
