Also, joeykw has only one other team, which is in Knight, and they are also currently National Champions (Duke).

its a great team - we just lost to them - at least we were within 5 points

Vermont won by double-digits over A&M, running their streak to 69-0 and placing the Catamounts in the National Final.
In my almost 5 earth years playing HD, this is the most amazing accomplishment I've seen.

Just one undefeated season in Division-1 is in rarefied territory... threads have been created about those.
Two consecutive undefeated seasons in Division-1... not sure how often that's happened, can't be more than a handful if that, and all at high-majors.
But to do this at freakin Vermont... wow.

First of all, big congrats to joey, a streak like this is incredible regardless of the circumstances. Building Vermont into a powerhouse is a major accomplishment. Somewhere in Burlington, Bernie is giving Joey a yuuuge thumbs up.

In this case, you can see where he has dominated local recruiting, where in the past, a lot of those recruits would have been reserved for vandydave at BC, or ojinga at UConn. Now BC has been vacated nearly a dozen years, and UConn has had 5 coaches in 15 seasons, plus 4 managed by sim.

Go get ‘em tonight Joey!
