RANDOM FRANCHISE/POSITION LEAGUE


This league will challenge your ability to build a team with randomly assigned current franchises for each position.
Here is how it will work: On signup, each owner will recieve a randomly assigned franchise for each position. You will draft that position from the history of the assigned franchise only. Any player from the assigned franchise can be used, even playing out of position. But no player can play that position, ever, that is not from that franchise, with the exception of the 400k bench player rule below. For example, you may receive the following: 1b Yankees; 2b Tigers and so forth. You can only play a Yankee at 1b and only a Tiger at 2b.
-no twisting-the season must be from the franchise drawn for that position
-no "redraws"-you must take the first draw you get-I will use random.org
-the franchise assigned for "of" includes all 3 outfield positions
-there will be 2 franchises assigned for "p" - includes all SP and RP positions-both franchises can be used for sp and rp
-120M cap
-no clones, no trades, no aaa, no waiver wire
-live play-next game only
-a player at 400k or less can be used to play any position regardless of franchise
-the Diamondbacks/Marlins will be considered 1 franchise and the Rockies/Rays will be considered 1 franchise
-any ballpark
-no dh

-the random number you receive for each position will correspond to the number of the franchise below-franchise history pursuant to baseball-reference.com
-the corresponding position (left hand column) will be: 1 c; 2 1b; 3 2b; 4 3b; 5 ss; 6 of; 7 and 8 p
-Note: any player from any franchise at any salary can be used EXCLUSIVELY as a pinch hitter as long as he does not play any defensive position.
