Take 2 historical single season teams (NO TWISTING) and draft one for hitters and one for pitchers. Example: all hitters from the 2000 Rockies and all pitchers from the 2015 Nationals. Seasons drafted must be from those teams/years.

Let's throw in a wrinkle... you can add one player from each franchise - one hitter from the hitting franchise - one pitcher from the pitching franchise... any year, any salary. Using the above teams as an example - one hitter from any year in Rockies history & one pitcher from any year in Expos/Nationals history.

Two-Team combos will be exclusive but there are no limits on teams used.

Salary Cap - $90M
1885-2017
No AAA, WW, DH, clones or trades
Choose that year's stadium (hitting or pitching) for your park
24 teams
Not set on alignment but will try to separate same-hitting/same pitching teams

I think modern- era teams will be more attractive in this league... more players to fill out a roster. The teams I've been looking at are from the 60's and later. Maybe keep dead ball teams in the same division?
