Clarification:
MLB121496 - Draft a player since 1900 who played 12+ years... Then draft a team of players who were teammates of that player at any point in his career
1.) Can the player have only one season post 1899 (i.e. 1900) to qualify?
2.) Can his team mates be BEFORE 1900?

See Jimmy Callahan...

This clarification is very important. Thank you.

It appears that Ed Delahanty was approved for this season, and all but 4 of his seasons were pre-1900. It seems highly likely much of the team built around him will come from pre-1900 players.

I would have thought that wasn't permitted based on the rules, but maybe the answer to your questions is Yes.

I have a different question:

Does 12+ years refer to actual MLB seasons, or qualifying WIS seasons only?

I know Elmer Flick was used one season (drafted as 1900 or 1901) with pre-1900 teammates from the Phillies.

Jimmy Callahan is actually on the blacklist as Nixie Callahan - same guy.

I wish I knew how to quote certain parts of a post, not just the entire thing. But yeah, I ain’t the first to do that whole use a player who have a majority of seasons in the 1800s.

The blacklist already has
Lave Cross
George Davis
John McGraw
and Jack Ryan

just for example

It is actual MLB seasons, regardless of AB's or IP's... I use baseballreference.com for research.
