Once a perennial title contender, this franchise is now in the middle of a 12 year playoff drought. However, young guns John Nelson and Davy Farrell give this squad a very solid young core to build around. Add the second overall pick in the upcoming draft to that and you have the formula for long-term success starting in the near future. Having the trio of Wilson Posey, Rod Metzger and Neifi Chase waiting in the wings certainly doesn’t hurt either.
