What will a guy with high 80s in Contact and Power, but only around 40 in vL and vR (with about 65-70 eye) hit like in this game?

Use the player search function to find comparable players.

Matty and Toby from your world look to be somewhat close but Toby doesn't have a very big sample size. You might have to take park factors into account as well.

Closest I can come up with are -

Looks like something in the .250/.320/.350 range.

Archie Danks is the player I had who I always comp for this kind of question. Averaged around .225-.230 playing in Portland; I traded him to Montreal where he's all the way up to .250. But he's way more productive than just his average; great slugger. One season he was an MVP finalist while hitting .238. When he has big games, he's driving in 4 or 5 runs.

Archie is surprisingly good. I wonder if he's playable without being a switch hitter and with mediocre speed though.

Reason I traded him; his power and speed are already falling off at age 30. I suspect he'll be useless by 34, so I wasn't going to extend his contract.

Speed and how he bats will play a role also.
