This league is first-come, first-serve.

The goal is to hit as many triples as possible while still winning over half your games.

The eight teams over .500 (regardless of league) with the most triples hit will advance to the playoffs.

The playoff teams are seeded by total triples hit. The #1 seed picks his opponent from seeds 5-8. The #2 seed picks from the remaining teams (seeds 5-8), the #3 seed does the same. (If tied in triples, the team with the better W-L record is higher seed)

The LCS is set automatically. (for example, if the first round is #1 vs #7, 2 vs #8, #3 vs 5, #4 vs 6, the winner of 1-7 plays the winner of 4-6, and the winner of 2-8 plays the winner of 3-5).

The better seed has home field advantage in each playoff series.

I'm in. At this cap the selections were difficult. Tip of the cap for putting together a good theme. I ended up using Comerica and de-emphasized doubles and homers. Not real confident in what I've built. The balancing act between winning and hitting a lot of trips is a difficult one at $100m

Agreed. There were some great triples hitters that couldn't do much else. Hard to know how many "specialists" to take and still put enough offense on the field.

Yup, the difficult part was cutting out the guys I KNOW would get a bunch of triples and subbing them with unknowns just so I could get some pitching on this team

Yes.

We have 11 teams entered so far. I did a quick inventory on the players. Two players were selected 5 times. A handful of players were taken 3 times. Also,no pitcher was taken more than twice. Lots of variation with the rosters.
