At what mileage level does recruiting cost first escalate? For instance, the cost of a campus visit...is it 200 miles?

I believe 360 miles or less is considered local. However even within local distances costs vary depending on how far away the athlete is. After the 360 miles costs escalate significantly.
Don't get me wrong. It doesn't mean you shouldn't go after athletes there. Just control your budget while doing so.

Right now I'm recruiting in Heisman.

A recruit who is 179 miles from me is 825$ or so for a CV

One at 183 is 1022$.

I'm guessing at 180 it shoots up to 4 figures

180, 360, 900, 1200 are the gradient levels IIRC

I think 1400 is the threshold for the big jump.

yah it's 180, 360 then around 1300/1400

you should feel comfortable recruiting anyone within 360 with regards to money you get per scholarship. outside that be careful

unfortunately these mileages don't match the available recruit search parameters. at least they have the 360 option

180 / 360 / 1400 are where the costs jump.

Actually its 359; you will notice that 360 puts you $500+ where 359 you are still in the $200s
