I entered my team. I ended up using 4 player seasons that I frequently use, 12 that I occasionally use, and 9 that I have never used before at any cap. I've played a lot of high caps and a lot of low caps, and I think that a league that has me picking 9 players I've never used is guaranteed to keep me interested. That said, if there are subsequent seasons, the idea of blacklisting award winners could be fun.
Good post celticus. Got me to review the composition of my team with your train of thought. I guess I've played in the SIM long enough to report there are only 3 guys I've never used before, but only 6 I use a lot (including a catching platoon). Hope this fills soon. I'm anxious to see everybody's roster.
Along those same lines, I used 5 of my "regular" guys, 11 occasional guys, and 9 guys I hardly (if ever) use or have used. No idea how this will turn out!
