***Player salary cap - $9.5M*** <- I wasn't aware of this rule. I don't care whether this rule is used or not, as I can adjust, but I wonder if this rule is needed. The owners for whom this rule can make a difference would be among the first 3 drafting, and by the time they get to pick again, so many things would have happened that it probably won't be much of an advantage. Also, because we use ABBA format, the advantage of having the first 3 picks really disappears by the end of 3rd round. I don't think those two player-seasons would be enough of difference maker compared to case like 66-67 Wilt.

Maglor...the rule is mainly to keep the 66/67 Wilt out. So as not to ban any single player season I just used a player cap. The rule has always been there. But if the league wants it dropped except for Wilt, I'm OK with lifting for this era.

Hmmm, then why not 12 million dollar cap ?

Maglor that's right it used to be $12m...I got it wrong. I'll pull the player salary capcap except in the 50/60's era. Thank for pointing it out.

Well, I was only curious because 9.5 million dollar limit is something rarely seen before, especially since the Search page of WIS has maximums of 9 million and 10 million, but not 9.5 .
