If I'm recruiting someone "late" and currently sitting at A-, but have a chance to get up to A+ before the 2nd recruiting period, does it make more sense to give them a start and minutes then or would I get more credit for giving them starts/minutes earlier?

If he wants to play, I think the increased cumulative value of attention/effort would be worth promising as soon as you can. If he doesn’t have that preference, and the promises just have the stand alone value, it may make more sense to wait. That assumes, of course, that prestige affects the stand alone value of promises. I think it does, but I’m not 100% sure.
