Welcome back! Hopefully these next few spots will be filled quickly so we can get the games started ASAP. I'm currently in the process of verifying the teams that have already been entered.

As I stated earlier, I have personally managed three 2009 teams (the '09 Cardinals, '09 Dodgers and '09 Phillies) into the postseason in prior seasons of Twist w/ a Hero. Another 2009 team that has caught my eye as a potential contender is the 2009 Tampa Bay Rays. That pitching staff is interesting. James Shields and David Price sit atop a rotation that has an extremely deep bullpen (which includes Jason Isringhausen, Wade Davis, Troy Percival and Russ Springer) behind it. Adding a Hero like Chris Archer could elevate the staff to among the top in the league. And the offense is pretty darn good too. Having Ben Zobrist, Carlos Pena, Evan Longoria, Carl Crawford, B.J. Upton and Pat Burrell means that your offense will be loaded with capable sluggers from top to bottom. I think they're definitely a team worthy of consideration... Only five spots left. Sorry, but the '82 Brewers are a blacklisted team. They were the Season Two (World Series Losers) Champion.

The '83 Brewers are still available. Essentially the same team, plus Tom Candiotti but minus Rollie Fingers.
