I doubt this fills without a cap, but I'll go with 12-13 Lebron.

A 50-52 million cap would make this much more interesting.

I'll take Dwayne Wade

If you want to be. All are welcome. These four are the four teams that have been put together so far.

Salary cap
I don't want to limit support player choices. If a change needs to be made to the game plan we have options. So, for that to be possible, the salary cap is out the window.

You wouldn't be limiting support player choices if it was $60m, or even $50m. The people giving you advice in this thread are trying to help you build a better, more interesting, more attractive league to the small percentage of people still playing this thing.

General rules of thumb for theme leagues:

higher cap = more similar teams (at least at the top)
first come, first serve with restrictions = harder to fill as you get toward the end. These are better done as randomized drafts (sign up, then there's a random draft for ball hogs)

The lifeblood of most theme leagues are the same 30-40 owners with a few new ones here & there.

With all of that said, good luck with your league! (ps - that is not sarcasm; I genuinely wish you well)

I have made a team with the 200 million cap but if you decide to change that I am open to it and I'll change my team around. And 60 million is PLENTY to build support around. Especially since usage has an impact on salary.

Also, to Ashes point the Old Skool league had to change to a small draft for the same reasons because once all of the good players are taken not as many people are going to want to join.

Yeah on second thought I'm going to pass. I just created a team with literally 44 million worth of salary that won't see a minute of action. No thank you. Plus Ash is completely correct ... Making the only ball hog limited to a specific player year on a first come first serve basis puts the last owners at a tremendous disadvantage.

My suggestion would be to drop the cap to 50 million or less and drop the specific player restrictions. Lower caps = greater diversity
