Someone should tell James Harden that Time of Possession is NOT a basketball stat. Apparently he thinks it is. Why else would he waste so many trips down the court by dribbling for 20+ seconds before passing to a teammate who then needs to hoist the ball at the basket as quickly as possible?

Looks like Houston has finally decided to keep the ball in Paul's hands more instead of Harden's.
Smartest thing they could have done. The resulting reduction in TOs was a huge factor last night.
