The Post War League started with the 1946 season. We will soon be entering the 1980 season, our 35th season. This is a very stable league, this is our first opening since the 1975 season

This is a 16 team league and since there were 26 major league teams in 1980 there is no shortage of players. The DH was adopted for both leagues starting in 1973.

Interested owners will be given immediate access to the league private forum, which contains complete league rules, the 1980 available player list and the 1980 draft schedule.

The 1980 draft has just started. The team available is the Philadelphia Phillies, who drew the #1 pick in the first round and will have the 2nd pick in each subsequent round (but see the keeper list below, only 2 picks are needed, 1st and 4th rounds).

The owner dropped suddenly after the draft had started so I have made the first round pick and will continue to make draft picks (only a 4th round pick is needed, see the keeper list below) until we get a new owner.
I selected OF Lloyd Moseby as the 1st round pick.

The immediately following post is the keeper list posted for the Phillies by the prior owner.
