Jittery Joe as he was known was an interesting case. His great 1944 season was also his rookie season. He was 39 years old. Of course we are talking about the War years.

shysters3 - Thanks, but I am going to disallow your pick because you already have a team in the AL. I know there have been instances in the past where someone had two teams in a the same league, but those were oversights and go against the rules.

LOL, I was actually going to chime in with kudos to jpccr for showing great knowledge, but then again, it didn't impact me. I'll still give him a shout out. That could have slipped through.

I got a decent season out of '61 Dick Donovan in a first name theme league that just wrapped up. 12-10, 4.00 ERA. I don't think I knew anything about him before that. I just needed a lot of Dicks on the roster.
