PORK (Progressive Optional Rookie Keeper) League is a double progressive which started in the 1963/1993 Season. It combines the idea of an ICON/Rookie League with a double progressive. In year one, everyone drafted a team from the 60's and one from the 90's. Each new season, you have the option of keeping your rookies (hence the name), or dropping them. And then we have a draft for all free agents (dropped rookies, unpicked players from past season who progressed, and players from non-selected franchises).

We are entering our 9th season, and prepping for the 1972/2002 Draft.

The three teams that need owners are:

New York Indians (1972 Mets, 2002 Indians) -first place NL East

Golden State Pirates (1972 Pirates, 2002 Giants) - first place NL West and won World Series

Red O's (1972 Red Sox, 2002 Orioles) - fourth place AL East

Idea is you make a 25-30 man keeper list for the 1972/2002 Season, from the players who progressed from your 1971/2001 Roster, players returning from IR those seasons, and any 1972/2002 Rookies from those teams you choose to keep. If you keep 25 players you can select 5 players in the Free Agency draft, if you keep 26 you can pick 4 players etc. If you keep 30 players you can't participate in the draft. 5 players go to AAA, but can be called up any time up to the trade deadline.

Note there is a plan to expand by four teams for the 1973 / 2003 season.
