Pick a season. Twist 25 players who are in the WIS database for that season to other seasons. If a player played in your chosen season but did not qualify for WIS, you can not use them. You must twist each of the 25 players to a unique season. No players can come from your chosen season.

I hacked my way through the first 5 leagues. This one is completely confounding to me. Every time I read it, and the explanation in this thread for twisting, I'm just thinking about players that had 25 year careers, and played roughly during the same years in MLB as a guy with a 24 year year career, who played roughly during the same years as a guy with a 23 year career... and so on. My head hurts.

You don't need players who played 25 years.

You pick a season, say 1950. Then, your roster is made up of 25 players who played during 1950. But, you can't use any of their 1950 seasons. Instead, you can use one player's 1951 season, one player's 1949 season, one's 1952 season, and so on.

And you really only need about 15 years in each direction. If you pick 1950, you can have dudes who played 1935-1950 and other dudes who played 1950-1965.
