$100M Exclusive Franchise Battle (FULL) Topic

This franchise league will be divided by eras. The National League will consist of 12 of the 16 franchises that have existed since 1901. That league will use only player seasons from 1901 through 1960.
The American League will consist of 12 of the franchises in existence since 1961. And, to make the newest franchises more competitive, we’ll combine the Rockies/Diamondbacks and Marlins/Rays. Only player seasons starting with 1961 may be used in the AL.
Therefore, the following franchises may be selected for the pre-1961 NL:
  1. Braves
  2. Red Sox
  3. Cubs
  4. White Sox
  5. Reds
  6. Indians
  7. Tigers
  8. Dodgers
  9. Senators
  10. Yankees
  11. Phillies
  12. Pirates
  13. Giants
  14. Cardinals
  15. A’s
  16. Browns/Orioles
And, any of the following franchises may be selected for the post 1960 AL:
  1. Rockies/Diamondbacks
  2. Marilns/Rays
  3. Astros
  4. Royals
  5. Angels
  6. Brewers
  7. Mets
  8. Padres
  9. Mariners
  10. Senators/Rangers
  11. Blue Jays
  12. Expos/Nationals
  13. Twins
  14. Braves
  15. Red Sox
  16. Cubs
  17. White Sox
  18. Reds
  19. Indians
  20. Tigers
  21. Dodgers
  22. Yankees
  23. Phillies
  24. Pirates
  25. Giants
  26. Cardinals
  27. A’s
  28. Orioles
Once you’ve selected your franchise and league, then build your best $100M team using players only from your franchise within the specified years (i.e. 1901-1960 for the NL, and 1961-2017 for the AL). No AAA, DH, WW, clones or trades. You must use a home field used by your franchise during your chosen era. Alignment in each league will be made in the order of signups.
Your franchise will be exclusive in your chosen league, although the same franchise may be used once in the post-1960 AL and once in the pre-1961 NL. Note that some franchises used many different names, so for example the Dodger franchise in the NL would include seasons played as the Superbas & Robins. Use

I will select my franchise last. First come, first served.
