The Best ROSTER/23 players from WIS Hockey?

As an owner in this league, you take a team... you will then get one vote/your favorite player and which season. (i.e. Gretzky 81-82)

Then the other 22 owners will pick one player and season until we have a complete 23-player roster.

I as an owner (Sgarrista1), I will NOT have a 24th vote so that 23 players are picked.

12 forwards (doesn’t have to be 4X C, 4X LW, 4X RW, it can be all Centers)

6 defensemen

3 extras (or 2 extras and 3rd Goaltender)

2 Goaltenders

When the league is full, we will have the “WIS Travel Team”.

As I mentioned at the start, we are going to “level the playing field”...

All 24 teams will have the SAME 23 players to play with.

In this league... winning the CUP will be about aligning and changing your lines and lines/pairs settings etc.

I am taking 1950-51 TERRY SAWCHUK I know Sawchuk is a bust in WIS, but by far he is the most $VALUABLE$ goaltender in WIS so let’s se how he will fare.

Rick Tocchet 1992-93 . . . D rate 54. 252 penalty minutes. 48g plus 61 assists and he is an even 20%.

Hopefully, someone takes Big Al 54g and Gilmour D 48 = Chemistry

Thanks for that sitemail about Behn Wilson... I remember when I was a kid, this was when Pelle Lindbergh was starting off with Philly and Behn Wilson was moving to Chicago...

Chuck will love this one. Everyone with the same team. He has a PhD in Settings and line matching/shadowing, and also is a master at fooling us into thinking we know what he is up to. This league is going to go well
