Good article discussing how Trump and team want FBI agent Peter Strzok in jail for "words alone" -- but insist such a standard shouldn't be applied to them.

If the texts between Strzok and Page provide a molehill of evidence of corruption at the FBI, then the messages sent by Trump, Trump Jr., Manafort, Stone, Kushner, Caputo, Papadopoulos, Michael Flynn, and other Trump accomplices provide a mountain of evidence of collusion with Russia. There’s no universe in which “We’ll stop it” is incriminating but “I believe you have some information for us,” “I hope you can let this go,” and “I faced great pressure because of Russia—that’s taken off” aren’t. In fact, the main difference between Strzok and Trump is that in the IG report, Strzok says he wouldn’t have let bias affect his investigative decisions. Trump, his son, and his aides say just the opposite: that the only reason they didn’t use the dirt promised in the Trump Tower meeting is that the Russians didn’t deliver it.

By the way, Strzok is willing to testify under oath before the House Judiciary Committee and any other congressional committee that asks . And he won't invoke the Fifth. Just wants to clear his name.

Kind of odd to finally see someone connected with this Trump/Rusher investigation willing to do that. You know, because all the honest folk who have nothing to hide and haven't committed any crimes are so afraid of falling into perjury traps.

It won't be pored over much by Trump supporters because they've already written it off as fake news/deep state/witch hunt/etc. Plus that FBI agent sent a stupid text to his girlfriend, therefore ipso facto erratum the whole investigation is tainted and Trump is innocent. #MAGA

that fbi agent had not yet been asked to sign a loyalty oath....that is a complete defense.

its like when nixon said the plumbers could break open the whole bay of pigs thing...whatever that actually meant......they are afraid that with every and any admission the russian house gets built.

Again if you have not read the book collusion then you only have 20% of the facts that are behind the Mueller investigation. To summarize it is like a puzzle but when you put the pieces together you do see smoke. It was written from a negative to DJT but still curious.

Yes, and people see the "facts" about Mueller the same as they see the facts about anything political - with a slant to what they want.
That's human nature and isn't going to change.
It's why the entire thing shouldn't be a topic of discussion at all until it is complete and reviewed and commented-upon by both sides.
