It took me a moment to figure out how but sorting the RPI by School by coach name...it took less than a minute.

Knight:

DI - 119
DII - 74
DIII - 77

Sweet thanks. I'll update the other population thread with the new numbers.

It seems like most D1 populations are between 110-120. It's a far cry from the peak but it doesn't suck.

Yup, like I said, D1 looks like the best of all the division. Unfortunately D2 and D3 do suck. Big time.

To me, that's what 3.0 was intended to do...treat (selbe essentially stated this) the lower divisions as a training ground for the ultimate goal - DI.

But I never heard Seble or anyone else at WIS state that D2 and D3 should be training grounds. I must have missed that part. I'm pretty sure he talked during Beta about making all levels just as good.

Maybe my memory is getting bad. I could have sworn selbe could not understand why people would want to permanently stay in DIII and DII. I thought this very conversation came up in beta, concerning lower division schools, getting those kinds of answers. It doesn't really matter because the intent is irrelevant. The reality, that the lower divisions are mostly empty, is the only thing to take away from the stats.

D2 has a lot less schools though, so percentage wise, I don't think D2 is all that bad. D3 is empty, with a few coaches just racking up titles, and the rest newbies.

July 10th, 2018:
Current Div-1 Populations:
1 Naismith 102.
4 Smith 112.
7 Crum 99.
10 Phelan 132.

Phelan is really strong at 132. Still open to join today.

I guess that explains why I haven't been able to find a div 1 job I'd want to apply for the last couple of seasons in Phelan.
