PORK (Progressive Optional Rookie Keeper) League Expansion Sign Up for 1973 and 2003 Season.

We are currently in the 1972/2002 season early on. Draft will be for the upcoming 1973/2003 season.


Please choose one of the four remaining 1973 Franchises: Montreal Expos, San Diego Padres, Milwaukee Brewers, Kansas City Royals

or

Please choose one of the ten remaining 2003 Franchises: Anaheim Angels, Arizona Diamonbacks, Cincinnati Reds, Colorado Rockies, Detroit Tigers, Florida Marlins, Milwaukee Brewers, Pittsburgh Pirates, St. Louis Cardinals, Tampa Bay Rays.

Second Round please choose team from season you didn't take in the first round (ie: if you took a 2003 team round one, then choose a 1973 team round two and vice versa). This is on a first come first served basis, but order is reversed in second round.

For the record, once we get a third owner, if there is no fourth owner for a week or so, I'll take that team

What will the draft positions be for the expansion teams in the free agency draft?

Good question -- I looked at a few leagues that expanded -- 2/3 went by total losses -- so that would mean first four draft picks would go in reverse order of total wins by the two teams (73 and 03) or by the total losses by the two teams.

Looks like someone bailed - he signed up for the Marlins last night, but this morning it is gone.

I still want the Marlins 2003 - no bail, rather .took time for discussion with commissioner

FYI, I need things to move forward, based upon draft scheduling. So if another owner doesn't step up (step right up!) then I will take the fourth expansion team.

I will select the 73 Royals and be back later to start round 2.

I'll follow up with the 03 Anaheim Angels

This leaves me with 1973 Padres
