A) irresponsibility
B) stupidity
C) a combo of A + B
LOOOOOOL.

Evidence of poor people that:

1. Have IPHONES
2. Have AirJordans
3. Have Sony Playstations

Though I can buy a first gen playstation for 20 bucks.

Evidence please. Not anecdotal. Hard evidence.

The hatred-based total lack of rational thinking and dismissal and distortion of reality by some Democrats continues to make the entire Party look stupid.
LOL. You think this isn't a problem with the GOP? The head of the party can't tell the truth about the size of a crowd. To think this isn't a two-sided issue is insane.

If you would be so kind as to show me the data that shows that free phones have lowered poverty rates, I would greatly appreciate it.
Just a heads up that free phone is a Reagan era program.

If I call a plumber and cannot pay him he will not fix my toilet. If I call a doctor and cannot pay him he should not be forced to treat me.
**** the poor, amiright
The poor who have iPhones, wear Air Jordans and have Playstations? Or the actual poor?

If you call a plumber, will he fix your toilet for free? Yes or No?
Phones are pretty vital to life these days. Also, these people are still poor. Common myth.

No.
Phones are in no way essential to life. That is ridiculous.
For my job, they are. Maybe not an iPhone but a flip phone for most people is.
I said iPhone. I said Air Jordans. I said Sony Playstation.

They are not "poor". They are gaming the system.
Yes. You can have those things and still be poor.
Explain how.
Iphone 4, goodwill, 2000 era playstation

If you can feed your family, you're not poor. Tang, you may want venture out of Central Kansas and into a 3rd world country. Start telling them that people with luxuries like cable tv are poor and see what kind of reaction you get.
it's almost impossible in this country to not have cable tv. I can have Cable TV for 19.99 a month and I live in one of the most expensive regions in the US.

Though there is some merit to this. Feeding your famly properly is pretty tough, unless you're not poor.

Maybe we can all self-identify as "poor"; then the gov't can pay for all are needs & wants - I'm still trying to figure out why the Dems don't raise the minimum wage to $100/hr, why not $300/hr - wouldn't that solve all the problems -- why worry about a "living wage", when the Dems can give us all a "LIVING WAGE" --- then we wouldn't have to be "poor", or would we all be "poor"?

Parenthetically, you have to love the policies the Dems create to help the poor - QUERY: where would the "poor" be if not for charity (an American taking after tax dollars to help his fellow citizen - all the while the Dems claim there're the only ones concerned with the "poor".
re-tar-ded

3 syllable's for you sir.

I could care less who's program it is. A phone is not vital to a quality life.

I don't have cable tv. If you can afford $19.99/month on entertainment, you are not poor. Once again, lets go to a 3rd world country and tell them we have $20 a month to spend on tv, but we're poor and watch their reaction.

Nope. You can feed your family healthy food for cheap (i'm excluding the most expensive regions of the country, but you can't feed your family unhealthy food for cheap in those places either). It is a myth that you can't. Go to kroger.com and put Athens, GA in as your preferred store. A whole bag of salad is $2.99.

Tang, just once, please explain to us how a person can have an iPhone, Jordans and a Playstation and still be poor, without being either stupid and/or irresponsible. I think we'd love to hear how you think that's possible.
I'm glad I decided to open this one. I think I know the answer to this and bet Tangy don't.............

Here's how that's possible............ it's called theft.
No no Tang says these people can get these items lawfully and still be “poor”. He needs to stop back pedaling and defend this absurd assertion.
They can as long as they fall under a random number that the government sets, because the US government is ALWAYS right.
That sounds very Republican!

I didn't realize that you hold the shining beacon of light(the USA) up to the same standards of a third world country. Did you know that in most third world countries food is regulated in price so everyone can afford it?
