Okay, I was at my Washington State team. All of my recruits were green and yellow and I didn't have any more money to recruit. Today, I look at my Whatifsports and I only have 2 recruits green and the rest Red. What the heck? And yes, I spent all of my money to recruit. I honestly don't get it.

What don't you get? Other teams can and will continue to pursue recruits until they are signed. You've never encountered that before?

I have 14 bucks left.. And I spent $150,000 in recruiting. Seriously.. Yesterday at 8 PM CNT I checked my Whatifsports page then go to my Washington State team in Haynes. I was fine with loads of greens and 2 yellows. Today I check my Washington State team in Haynes. And I had loads of reds and greens. I mean, I can't give out stuff like campus visits and head coach home visits when I have only $14 left!

Yeah. But they're SIMS!! Mind you, SIMS! I can get other coaches but SIMS somehow jumping on recruits I paid $30,000 bucks on?

And now I can't recruit anymore because, again, I have $14 bucks left..

Sims continue to put in effort on a recruit until you turn them green. If they were still yellow then the sim will keep throwing money at them. They have endless funds...

Did you have green recruits turn into Sim only greens? That would be odd. Yellow I understand.

They were green. And the ones with coaches were yellow. But most of my greens and yellows turned into reds because I only have $14. Yes. I know it's odd. But, this is actually happening to me. And most of my recruits were green.. Now they're red..

As Kermit once said : "It aint easy being green !"

Once you turn a recruit green, a Sim cannot turn him back to red unless you've filled all of your scholarship openings. So if what you say is true, that should not have happened.

It is true. Even though I didn't hand out any scholarships because I was in battles with coaches and ran out of money. Now I still have 2 greens. But I still can't recruit because I have no money..

It all comes down to budgeting. You can not blow it all and expect to get out without someone jumping on your guys ; AI or human. It can happen that way. But when someone jumps on one of your guys you have to have a reserve to either fight it or find someone else.

Why didn't you offer scholarships? Isn't this the 2nd boondoggle that you've brought up?

He needs a mentor. He's only been playing since June and doesn't understand the process.

I agree, but I'm also impressed/surprised that he was able to get all the way to the top of D1 without one.
