With an apparent delay of the release for 2018 players, I may get the league number soon and then run it again when 2018 players are out.

Bool yeah! Cash in '61 was dynamite for average and power. Plus, Big Frank can take his lousy fielding to the DH. Maybe the expansion era can lead to another league?!
I was surprised to find out Norm Cash was originally signed by the White Sox.

If I remember correctly, Roger Maris was originally signed by the Indians. 1961 Roger Maris would help Cleveland tremendously!
Therefore, Maris, Cash and others are eligible before 1965?
I don't want to change rules after owners have already signed up but will allow 1961-2018 players next season. That's assuming 2018 players will be available!

Seattle Mariners were the inspiration for this theme!

Only down to 6 spots. The Nationals/Expos combo is probably the best team left and lost in the World Series last time I ran this league. Under this format they get to use any season of Randy Johnson, Tony Phillips, Grady Sizemore, Larry Walker, Cliff Lee, Norm Charlton and Expos/Nationals regulars Andres Galarraga, Gary Cater, Bryce Harper, Vladimir Guerrero, Larry Walker, Tim Raines, Andre Dawson, and Stephen Strasburg!

I will take the Expos/Nats

Great choice and welcome to my final theme league!

The Texas Rangers are now available to anybody that wants to try and outslug the opponent. Of course they'll probably lead the league in strikeouts with the likes of Chris Davis, Joey Gallo, Travis Hafner, Sammy Sosa, and Juan Gonzalez!

Interesting pitching options include Kevin Brown, Dave Righetti, Kyle Hendricks, Tom Henke, Robb Nen, Rick Helling, Gene Nelson, and Joaquin Benoit.

I will select both of my teams last, just save me one AL and NL team please!

Aloha old friend.....
Will grab a Phillies team(again) and finish in the bottom tier(again)…yet, hope springs eternal!

However, for all those who have clicked and then passed.....The drafting IS a blast....

Thank you for joining! 2018 Aaron Nola will definitely help your staff. At least you get Ryne Sandberg, Julio Franco, and George Bell back!

I think the Angels are the best team left. Mike Trout might have just had his best season!

Hey all just wanted to provide an update as we're waiting on 2018 players to be released so I can pick a team and create the league. I'm updating a spreadsheet I created years ago to help you with drafting teams. If anybody would like a copy please sitemail me your email address since it is too large of a file to post here in the forum.

Some of you have raised concerns about the $140 million salary cap but I wanted to leave some room in case there is another round of salary adjustments when the new players are released. With a DH, $140 should allow you to draft the best seasons of each player plus salaries are pretty expensive for top seasons. 2003 Eric Gagne is almost $10 million now!

Will get the league going soon. Thank you for your patience!
