I like wylie's list. Somebody can throw out a category for others to post on or just put up a Top 10 of their own choosing.

I'll come up with my Top 10 50s standards albums in a bit. The 'standards' designation narrows it by quite a bit and limit two will force me to mull over which Sinatra albums to include. I already have one standards album (not Sinatra) that's a dead ringer.
